Cairns based band,
Shari & The Mice have developed a significant following
in Far North Queensland over the last few years. Their
Rock sound with solid foundations in country and blues
has earned them the respect of their fans and peers and
their live shows leave the audience screaming for more.
Following the success of her award winning debut solo album
Sunny which has been receiving both international and national
airplay, Shari Williams joined forces with the Three Blind
Mice to create one of the most dynamic live bands today.
No strangers to live performance, this four piece brings
together Shari’s vocal talents, perfected in the live rock
band scene in Sydney including solo performances at Sydney
Opera House, together with Bass Player Brenton Thomas who toured
with John Paul Young,Gordon Sheard on lead who has played with
Phil Emmanuel and introducing Kieran Finlay who has trained
under some of the
best Jazz drummers
Australia
has
to offer.
Since their formation in 2007 they have been asked to perform
with some of Australia’s finest country artists including;
James Blundell, Adam Brand and Catherine Britt. Shari was asked
to perform alongside Rob Black at the Raffinatis café in Gympie,
and as entertainment backstage at the Gympie Muster.
With a new album in the pipeline, the video for “Dusty
Boots’ which won Qmusic’s
best country song 2008 on CMC, live interviews and performances on ABC
radio FNQ and Sea FM Cairns, Shari and the boys are preparing
for a very busy year ahead.
